ABOUT SEFI
Sefina “Sefi” Adasi Lucki, is a Product Leader in the EdTech space. A tech chameleon, she is an expert at adapting to new technology, challenges, and experiences. Sefi has experience teaching in brick-and-mortar and online environments, writing curricula, leading study abroad experiences, designing websites, creating scripts, managing both freelance and regional clients, and, managing a product team, and leading corporate edtech content partner strategy. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and has experience helping a startup grow exponentially. Sefi is a problem solver and enjoys helping others reach their goals in an efficient and meaningful way. The guiding principle of her work and life is to use technology to help solve problems.
5 FUN FACTS ABOUT SEFI
Sefi started working early, helping her father deliver the Washington Post and then with her own Gazette paper route. Her favorite part of the newspaper route was getting Montgomery Donuts after a delivery was complete; she still swears they were the best donuts she ever tasted!
Sefi played basketball at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She was captain and president of the student-athlete advisory committee during her senior year. She also served on the Friends of Wellesley College Athletics Alum Board.
Sefi is Nigerian-American and one of several siblings and cousins. She has a fun and large family spread across the globe and enjoys spending time with them, in person and virtually.
Sefi is autodidactic, teaching herself Spanish when she was young and web design and coding as an adult.
Sefi is fluent in Spanish and lived abroad in Spain. She still misses the Spanish way of life including siestas, café con leche, and late-night dining.
